La Danza Azteca

La Danza Azteca - Macehualiztli, La Danza Azteca, The Aztec Dance, all of these names have been used throughout the past four Hundred and eighty years to describe a complex and ancient form of communication amongst the Native American nations of central Mexico. La Danza Azteca is a living, evolving, cultural tradition filled with the artistic and spiritual traditions of the Precolombian Aztecs, and their post-conquest Mestizo descendants. It is a form of prayer, individual, and yet communal. La Danza Azteca is a form of communication. It is a rich blend of music, choreography, poetry, and most importantly of all, of deeply held spiritual faith with love and respect to the Mother Earth and the sacred elements.
